A Human Resources Officer position is available for qualified and experienced candidates who have aspirations to solidify their career in Human Resources within the mining equipment operations sector. The ideal candidate will have strong Human Resources experience, an excellent understanding of HR Partnership models, and strong communication skills. PURPOSE OF THE POSITION  

To manage and execute various Human Resources functions including recruitment, employee relations, and organisational development (OD) within the organisation.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • National Diploma in Human Resources (NQF6 or equivalent)
  • At least 3 – 5 years of proven experience in a Human Resources position
  • Understanding of Human Resources Partner Models
  • Proven experience in Organizational Development
  • Proven experience in planning and project management
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and good presentation skills
  • Experience in the mining or mining equipment environment will be an advantage
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Take all reasonable measures to ensure that all persons under your charge are properly and adequately instructed on the correct and proper use of such machinery or equipment.

  • Perform job design and recruitment processes, including job postings, screening resumes, and conducting interviews.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with Human Resources policies and procedures.
  • Handle employee relations matters and provide guidance on Human Resources-related issues.
  • Responsible for employee wellbeing and wellness in the workplace.
  • Oversee performance management processes, including evaluations.
  • Support in the implementation of Human Resources programs and initiatives.
  • Stay updated on Human Resources best practices and legislation.
